According to Sushant Singh Rajput, sharing details of messages isn't a great thing to do but this was the only way to defend himself amid a 'smear campaign'. Recently on social media, reports surfaced that Sushant misbehaved with his 'Kizie Aur Manny' co-star Sanjana Sanghi. Sushant shared the conversations between him and Sanjana to set the record straight. Here's what went down.

As per a DNA report, Sushant was under scrutiny for his alleged misbehavior with the debutant, Sanjana. "At that time, his alleged 'overtures' didn't go down too well with the debutante, as a result of which shooting reportedly came to a standstill. However, now it seems the actor is under scrutiny by an international film corporation for his questionable behavior," the report read.

As the allegations caught attention, Sushant shared screenshots of his conversation with Sanjana, which seem like a friendly chat between the two co-stars. "I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well-timed smear campaign," Sushant wrote in his tweet.

Sushant gets support from director Mukesh Chhabra
In yet another tweet, Sushant slammed people for jumping to conclusions. He said those questioning him over the absence of blue tick in his profile, should know it wasn't there since September 5. Notably, Mukesh Chabbra, the film's director, also supported Sushant and tweeted no such incident happened. "Let's not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer," his tweet read.

'Kizie Aur Manny', which is the official remake of ' The Fault In Our Stars', is facing the heat of #MeToo movement. After Chhabra was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women, Fox Star, the production house, decided to stop his services. In a statement, the company said Chhabra will be disassociated till an Internal Complaints Committee concludes its inquiry.
