'Thug Life' Day 12 box office collection declines
Kamal Haasan's latest film, Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, promised a gripping action thriller with Haasan as a mafia kingpin in New Delhi.
The movie also features Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
Despite the buzz around its star cast and storyline, the film hasn't quite clicked with audiences since its June 5, 2025, release.
'Thug Life' struggles at box office
Thug Life opened strong with ₹15.5 crore on day one but quickly lost momentum.
So far, it's made ₹46.48 crore net in India and about ₹95.84 crore worldwide—including ₹41 crore from overseas markets.
By day 12, daily earnings had dropped to just ₹0.02 crore.
Should you watch 'Thug Life?'
If you're into action-packed stories and big names like Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam catch your eye, Thug Life might still be worth a look for the performances alone—even if it hasn't set the box office on fire.
Just don't expect packed theaters or massive hype this time around.
