'Tumbbad' director's next film is ready but hasn't released

Rahi Anil Barve, who made waves with Tumbbad, has just revealed the motion poster for his next movie, Mayasabha.
Starring Jaaved Jaafferi, the film was shot back in 2020 and is set inside a crumbling old theater. It follows four characters caught up in a suspenseful story—but even though it's finished, Mayasabha still hasn't hit screens.

What to expect from 'Mayasabha'

Jaafferi shared that Mayasabha centers on a washed-up film producer obsessed with mosquitoes (yep, he wears a mask and uses a smoke machine).
Things get wild when his son brings two strangers into the mix, leading to new discoveries.
