Best known for her role of Komolika Majumdar in the Indian television series, 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', and the winner of Bigg Boss 6, Urvashi Dholakia is a TV actress and reality show participant. She made her debut as a child artist in the industry when she was six years old and appeared in a television commercial for Lux soap. Later, she was cast in 'Shrikant', a Doordarshan TV series. As an adult, she was seen in 'Ghar Ek Mandir', 'Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii', 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', and 'Kahiin to Hoga' among others. In 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', she played the role of Komolika and gained nationwide recognition, and it became one of the most iconic television characters. She won many awards for playing the character of Komolika, too. In the following years, Dholakia emerged as the winner of the reality show, 'Bigg Boss 6' (2012-13), and also participated in 'Nach Baliye 9' (2019). She got married at the age of 17 and gave birth to twin boys at 18, and raised them as a single mother.
