Delhi Police arrest 31 in Mukundpur 'Jantri satta' betting ring
Delhi Police just took down a high-tech betting ring in Mukundpur, Outer North Delhi.
In a raid on August 9, they found 22 people allegedly involved in gambling at the spot, and police later arrested 31 people in total in connection with the case, including Ranjeet, the alleged mastermind and main operator, the property owner Ramesh Kumar, and Rahul Dilwaliya, who allegedly developed the customized 'Jantri Satta' software used by the network.
Police also seized ₹6.29 lakh in cash, loads of playing cards, Jantri books, and a bunch of mobile phones.
Follow-up raids seize ₹8.92L and ₹2.62L
Turns out this group ran a pretty organized operation with roles for handling money and developing tracking software.
Follow-up raids brought in even more: ₹8.92 lakh in cash, laptops, smartphones, and records linking them to big betting hotspots like Gali Disawar and Faridabad.
Another raid on August 20 added ₹2.62 lakh plus more devices to the haul.
The case is now under the Delhi Public Gambling Act as police dig deeper into their network's money trail.
