Former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede is suing Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment for ₹2 crore, claiming the web series "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" features a character clearly based on him.
He says the show copies his looks, speech, and even his catchphrase "Satyamev Jayate," making fun of him and his family while also damaging trust in anti-drug efforts.
His lawyer called it "beyond satire," arguing that just labeling it fiction doesn't excuse what they see as a personal attack.
