Amazon's Kindle gets a smart new AI helper

Amazon just launched "Ask This Book" for Kindle users on iOS in the US.
Now, if you're curious about a character or plot twist, you can long-press any paragraph and ask questions—either from suggested prompts or your own—and get quick, spoiler-free answers right inside the app.

How it works and what's next

The feature already covers thousands of English books and is coming to Android next year.
Authors can't turn it off, so it's available across lots of titles.
To keep things secure, you can't copy or share the info you get from it.
This move shows Amazon is all-in on making reading more interactive with AI.
