AMD's new AI gaming tech, FSR Redstone, drops December 10
Technology
AMD is rolling out its latest AI-powered upscaling tool, FSR Redstone, on December 10.
This new tech is built to make games look sharper and more realistic by improving visuals, reflections, and lighting.
As Jack Huynh from AMD puts it, players can expect "smoother performance and sharper visuals."
How does it work—and what's live now?
FSR Redstone uses machine learning to upscale low-res frames, add smoother motion with frame prediction, and bring back detailed lighting effects.
At launch, it'll work with RX 9000 series GPUs.
Plus, AMD has already released the platform's first feature—Ray Regeneration—which you can try right now in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 if you've got a Radeon RX 9000 card.
More details are coming at launch!
