Technology
Apple just dropped a firmware update (version 3.0.45) for its second-generation AirTag, focusing on better safety alerts if an unknown AirTag is nearby.
Automatic install and India pricing
The update tweaks sound alerts, making it easier to spot hidden AirTags using Precision Finding.
It installs automatically when your AirTag is near a compatible iPhone, and you can check the update in the Find My app.
This is the first update since launch, mainly bringing bug fixes and stability upgrades. Core features stay the same.
If you're thinking of getting one, the second-generation AirTag costs ₹3,790 (single) or ₹12,900 (four-pack) on Apple's India website and app.
