Originally launched in 2025 (US) and updated in January 2026, with the March 11, 2026 release expanding it internationally, it's also live for Chromebook Plus, Mac, and Windows users.
It adds support for 50+ languages; separately, the Gemini web app is available in more than 230 countries and territories, Gemini is now easier to access wherever you are.

How to access Gemini in Chrome
If you're at least 13 years old (or meet the minimum age in your country) with a personal Google Account, Gemini's Basic tier is available without a Google AI subscription; paid Google AI plans are offered for expanded access and capabilities.
