Google Earth incorporates historical Street View imagery

To celebrate its 20th birthday, Google Earth is rolling out historical Street View—so you can see how your favorite spots have changed over the years, not just from above but right at street level.
This feature, once only on Google Maps, now joins Google Earth's collection of old satellite and aerial images.

How to use the new feature

Just click any location in Google Earth, tap "Street View," and use the timeline slider to jump between different years.
It's a fun way to explore city glow-ups or see how neighborhoods have transformed.
