Technology Oct 30, 2026

Google just made studying a bit easier.

Gemini Notebook users in the US and India can now access hundreds of textbooks for free, via textbooks from providers including OpenStax and S Chand Publishing.

Students can use these books to build custom study guides. Answers can include direct source links and citations.

Select Add sources then Textbooks

To get started, just hit "Add sources" and choose "Textbooks" inside Gemini Notebook to browse the collection.

This upgrade is part of Google's push to make reliable educational resources more accessible through AI, so students can dive into quality content without extra costs or hassle.
