Google Pixel 11 removes Android logos while embracing Gemini branding

Google's brand new Pixel 11 lineup phones, which just launched, and there's a big change right from the start: no more "Powered by Android" boot logo.

Instead, Google is leaning into its Gemini Intelligence, even calling recent Pixel phones the "Gemini phone" in marketing and by the media.

The familiar Bugdroid logo is also gone, making it clear Google wants you to think of Pixel as all about next-level AI.

Boot times improve significantly in testing

Besides the fresh branding, boot times have improved significantly in testing, so you'll spend less time waiting for your phone to start up.

While some might miss the old Android logos, Google's betting that highlighting Gemini's AI features will make these Pixels stand out and feel more futuristic.
