Google unveils AI mode in India for enhanced search experience
Google just dropped its new AI Mode in India, making search way smarter and more interactive.
Powered by a special version of Gemini 2.5, this feature lets you ask longer, complex questions—stuff that used to take several searches to figure out.
You'll find AI Mode inside Google Search under Labs.
How AI mode works
AI Mode uses a "query fan-out" trick: it breaks your big question into smaller parts and tackles them all at once for deeper answers.
You can ask using text, voice, or even images now. Plus, with Lens features and access to real-time data (like financial visuals or shopping info), search feels much richer.
Since it's still new, Google says there might be some hiccups—if the AI isn't sure about something, it'll just show regular search results instead.
