Google unveils AI-Powered Gemini for education
At ISTE 2025, Google introduced Gemini for Education—a set of AI-powered tools built into Google Workspace for Education.
The platform packs over 30 features like interactive diagrams, personalized quizzes, and quick audio/video overviews, all aimed at making learning more engaging and efficient.

Teachers can whip up vocabulary lists, project ideas, translations, and even custom AI assistants called "Gems," which will soon be shareable with students.
For students, there are personalized quizzes and interactive visuals—so studying feels a bit less like a chore.
Gemini for Education prioritizes user safety
Google says Gemini is designed with strict content filters for anyone under 18.
There's also built-in fact-checking via Google Search and clear onboarding to help everyone use AI responsibly.
Plus, student data stays private and isn't used to train the AI—admins get full control over security settings too.
