Google warns: Chrome has a serious security bug—update ASAP

Technology

Google just released a security advisory for Chrome users: there's a major security flaw (CVE-2025-13223) that hackers are already using to break into people's browsers.
This bug lets attackers compromise your browser or even run code on your device, all through a dodgy web page.

Why does this matter?

This is the seventh big Chrome vulnerability this year, and it's already been used in real attacks—so it's not just theory.
If you use Chrome, update right now to version 142.0.7444.175 or higher (just go to Help > About Google Chrome and restart).
It only takes a minute and keeps your info safe from ongoing threats.
