ISRO empowers Indian firms with key space technologies
ISRO just passed on 10 of its top space technologies to six Indian companies, thanks to IN-SPACe and NewSpace India Limited.
The goal? Help local businesses build everything from satellite navigation tools to launch systems—so India relies less on imports and gets even stronger in space tech.
These are the companies and technologies involved
Zetatek Technologies is now the first Indian company with access to high-precision laser gyroscopes and accelerometers.
Hyderabad's Avantel and Jisnu Communications picked up advanced ground station gear.
Amnex Info Technologies got new geospatial tools for agriculture, Jalkruti Water Solutions received a portable water-depth system, and Ramdev Chemicals landed flameproof ceramic coatings—all with support from ISRO teams to help them put these innovations to use.
