ISRO to relaunch PSLV by late June or early July
ISRO is aiming to launch its PSLV rocket again by the end of June or beginning of July 2026, after two back-to-back failures last year and earlier this year.
Both times, the rockets could not put their satellites into orbit because things went wrong during the third stage.
Union Science Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh shared the new launch window at a recent government event.
ISRO switches vendors after component issues
ISRO says the issues came from components not made in-house, so they have switched vendors to avoid more problems. Now, all eyes are on making this upcoming PSLV mission a success.
Meanwhile, Skyroot's first orbital launch is expected soon, and the Vikram-I payload fairing was sent to Sriharikota in April-end and pushing ahead with test flights for the Gaganyaan human space mission, though COVID-19 delays mean those will happen later this year.
