James Webb Space Telescope spots red dots possibly 100,000-solar-mass stars

The James Webb Space Telescope picked up some mysterious red dots from way back in the early universe.
While scientists thought these were tiny galaxies, new research suggests they might actually be enormous "monster stars," possibly 100,000 times heavier than our Sun.
If confirmed, these would be some of the biggest stars ever imagined.
Devesh Nandal: stars form black holes
According to lead researcher Devesh Nandal, these monster stars likely lived fast and wild lives, shedding huge shells of gas before collapsing into massive seed black holes.
This could help explain how supermassive black holes formed so quickly after the Big Bang.
As Nandal puts it, understanding these giant stars could finally reveal how those early cosmic monsters came to exist.
