Mark your calendars for biggest supermoon of the year

Technology

Heads up, sky-watchers! The biggest and brightest supermoon of 2025 is happening on November 5.
NASA says this full moon will look up to 14% larger and shine about 30% brighter than usual, thanks to the Moon being at its closest point to Earth.

Beaver Moon will be visible on November 5

This "Beaver Moon" will be visible at 6:49pm IST (13:19 UTC), sitting just under 357273km away.
It's the second of three supermoons this year—after October's "Harvest Moon" and before December's final one.
Experts say the difference in size is subtle unless you compare photos, but it's still a cool excuse to look up!
