Messenger Rooms: News

After Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Skype, there’s a new video calling platform in town called Messenger Rooms. Launched by Facebook, Messenger Rooms allows one to go on a video call with a maximum of 50 people. Interestingly, one doesn’t have to be a FB user or have a Messenger account to avail this service. In fact, to join a call, one doesn’t even need to download any app. WhatsApp Users can also use Messenger Rooms, but only via the beta version of the messaging app. Some reviewers found Messenger Rooms to be a product of a Houseparty-Zoom marriage. While like Houseparty, it has the option of playing games and having fun with pals, like Zoom, one can use it to hold vital video conferences.
