Motorola's iconic RAZR phone is all set to make a comeback in a foldable avatar and that might happen sometime later this year. According to a CNET report, the company plans to announce the foldable phone by the end of this year.
And thanks to previous reports, patents, and teasers, we know a bit about the design, specifications, and features of the upcoming device.

Availability
But, Moto RAZR may not go on sale this year
-
The report claims that the availability details of the Moto RAZR remain unclear but "the press and public will at least see the phone in 2019."
Last month, we covered a similar report which said that the device will launch in US and Europe "within a few months" at $1,500 (Rs. 1.08 lakh).
Perhaps, we can expect a December unveiling and an early-2020 release.

Design
Meanwhile, here's how the Moto RAZR will look like
-
As per renders and leaks, the reincarnated Moto RAZR will feature a flip phone-like design with a flexible OLED display on the inside.
The external shell will house a secondary screen and a single camera while the internal display will have a small notch, presumably to pack a selfie snapper.
On the rear, a fingerprint sensor will be concealed within the bat-wing Moto logo.

Specifications
The phone is rumored to come with Snapdragon 710 chipset
-
The Moto RAZR is rumored to feature a 6.2-inch foldable display with a resolution of 876x2142 pixels. The external screen is likely to be an LCD screen for viewing notifications.
The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 710 chipset, combined with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 2,730mAh battery.
Further, the device might run Android 10 out-of-the-box.

In the box
Moto RAZR's retail box and accessories have also been leaked

Meanwhile, in April this year, some press renders revealed the packaging and bundled accessories of the Moto RAZR.
Going by those images, the foldable phone will ship in a triangular prism-like box along with a bunch of black-colored accessories such as a wall charger, a USB Type-C cable, a pair of headphones, and a USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter.
