And thanks to previous reports, patents, and teasers, we know a bit about the design, specifications, and features of the upcoming device.

But, Moto RAZR may not go on sale this year

  • The report claims that the availability details of the Moto RAZR remain unclear but "the press and public will at least see the phone in 2019."

Last month, we covered a similar report which said that the device will launch in US and Europe "within a few months" at $1,500 (Rs. 1.08 lakh).

Perhaps, we can expect a December unveiling and an early-2020 release.

  • As per renders and leaks, the reincarnated Moto RAZR will feature a flip phone-like design with a flexible OLED display on the inside.

The external shell will house a secondary screen and a single camera while the internal display will have a small notch, presumably to pack a selfie snapper.

On the rear, a fingerprint sensor will be concealed within the bat-wing Moto logo.

  • Specifications

The phone is rumored to come with Snapdragon 710 chipset

  • The Moto RAZR is rumored to feature a 6.2-inch foldable display with a resolution of 876x2142 pixels. The external screen is likely to be an LCD screen for viewing notifications.

The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 710 chipset, combined with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 2,730mAh battery.

Further, the device might run Android 10 out-of-the-box.

  • Meanwhile, in April this year, some press renders revealed the packaging and bundled accessories of the Moto RAZR.

Going by those images, the foldable phone will ship in a triangular prism-like box along with a bunch of black-colored accessories such as a wall charger, a USB Type-C cable, a pair of headphones, and a USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter.
