NASA is tracking several asteroids flying by Earth next week
Technology
NASA's got its eyes on several asteroids making close—but totally safe—flybys in mid-November 2025.
The standout is 2025 VX, about the size of a house, passing just 461881km from Earth on November 11.
That same day, another smaller asteroid, 2012 VC26, will cruise by at a comfortable distance of over three million miles.
Asteroids will pass by at safe distances
A few more space rocks are joining the flyby party: On November 10, house-sized 2025 VR and airplane-sized 2025 VT will pass by at safe distances, along with bus-sized 2020 VK4.
NASA's Asteroid Watch program is tracking all these objects closely and says none are big or close enough to be dangerous—just another day keeping an eye on the skies!
