OPPO F7 Diamond Black with 6GB RAM launched in India
OPPO has announced the launch of its limited edition OPPO F7 Diamond Black variant in India. This variant comes with top-of-the-line specs and flaunts triangular-cut patterns on the rear glass back that give it a diamond-like look. The device will be available on Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, and all OPPO offline stores starting April 21. Here's our roundup.
Diamond Black features a distinctive triangular-cut design on the back
In terms of design, this variant gets a distinctive triangular-cut design on the rear glass which sets it apart from the other variants. Notably, the display remains the same as all other OPPO F7 variants - a 6.23-inch full-HD+ (2280 *1080 pixels) Full Screen 2.0 display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch which helps the display achieve an 88% screen-to-body ratio.
The OPPO F7 sports a 25MP AI powered selfie shooter
Further, the highlight of OPPO F7 is its front camera - a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, with real-time HDR support. The AI-powered selfie shooter can scan up to 296 facial traits and comes with features like AI Beauty 2.0 for beautification effects. On the rear, you get a 16-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash.
All OPPO F7 variants come with dual 4G VoLTE
In terms of connectivity options, all the OPPO F7 variants have dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. Notably, like other variants, the Diamond Black variant also features a back-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and Dirac HD audio codec.
This Diamond Black model comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor paired with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. Like other OPPO F7 variants, the Diamond Black variant also supports dual-SIM cards and runs ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The smartphone packs a 3,400mAh battery which comes with OPPO's proprietary AI battery management technology.
Top-of-the-line specs come at a cost
The regular OPPO F7 variants, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, were launched last month with a price tag of Rs. 21,990. However, featuring a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Diamond Black edition has been priced at Rs. 26,990.
