PhonePe introduces Tap & Pay feature for Mastercard users

PhonePe has joined forces with Mastercard to roll out Tap & Pay—a feature that lets you pay just by tapping your NFC-enabled Android phone at payment terminals.
You can securely save your Indian Mastercard credit, debit, or prepaid cards in the PhonePe app for both online and offline payments, making checkouts much smoother.

How Tap & Pay works

Tap & Pay uses Mastercard's tokenization tech to keep your card details safe and prevent fraud.
Each payment is linked to your phone, so your info stays protected even if someone tries to use it elsewhere.
After a quick one-time setup in the app, you're ready for fast, secure tap-to-pay action as the feature rolls out across India.
