In Europe, the POCO X4 GT starts at €299 for the 8GB/128GB variant and goes up to €349 for the 8GB/256GB version. Notably, both are early bird prices.
The X4 GT gets a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it has 16MP selfie snapper. These specs may sound similar because the F4 also gets identical hardware but with additional OIS for the main camera. The X4 GT runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13.
The POCO X4 GT comes in Blue, Silver, Black shades. It is the company's first device to have a narrower 20.5:9 aspect ratio for improved single hand use. The handset also gets stereo speakers and a headphone jack.
The POCO X4 GT packs a 5,080mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. The F4 also supports same charging speed but has a smaller 4,500mAh battery.
Talking about the display, there is a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refersh rate, 650-nits of brightness, and DC Dimming support.
The X4 GT comes with a MediaTek 8100 chipset which is based on TSMC's 5nm process. It has four Arm Cortex-A78 cores with speed reaching 2.85GHz.
In India, the POCO F4 starts at Rs. 27,999 and goes up to Rs. 33,999. In the global markets, it starts at €349 and goes up to €399, both early bird prices.
As for availability, in India, the handset will go on sale from June 27 onward via Flipkart.
The main camera on the POCO F4 is a 64MP sensor with OIS support. The F4 is the first POCO device to get OIS. There is also an ultra-wide camera and a macro snapper. For selfies, there is a 20MP shooter.
The POCO F4 has a centered punch-hole cut-out with flat rails. It is 7.7mm thick and weighs 195g. It comes in Night Black, Moonlight Silver, and Nebula Green color options. It packs a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch response. The peak brightness is rated at 1,300-nits.
POCO F4 packs a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. You will be able to get 100% charge in around 38 minutes.
POCO F4 comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC along with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is also LiquidCool Technology 2.0 for improved thermal performance.
POCO has kicked-off its launch events for F4 and X4 GT. The company's global account on YouTube is hosting the event for both the handsets while the company's India account on YouTube is focusing only on F4. That's because X4 GT is not coming to India.
The POCO F4 is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1,300-nits of peak brightness. It will likely have a centered punch-hole cut-out for the front camera and a side-mounted or in-display fingerprint scanner.
The X4 GT is touted to be a tweaked version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro which was introduced in China last month. On the other hand, the F4 may arrive as a rebranded version of the Redmi K40S which was announced in China in March.
The stage is set for POCO to announce to new smartphones - the F4 5G and X4 GT. The former will be launched in India as well while the latter is expected to serve global markets only. The event will kick off at 5:30pm IST.
