Probably lands $9 million from Andreessen Horowitz to pursue 99.99% accuracy
Probably, a new AI startup, landed $9 million from Andreessen Horowitz to fix some of the biggest headaches in AI, like random mistakes (hallucinations) and accuracy issues.
Their goal? Hitting 99.99% accuracy with their tools, which is super rare for AI but common in traditional tech.
Probably's 1st product audits answers
Their first product is a data science tool that quickly analyzes complex data and gives answers you can actually check—complete with sources and audit trails.
It uses what they call a "data science mech suit" to double-check every answer against trusted systems, tossing out anything that doesn't match up.
Founder Peter Elias says this makes the tool perfect for fields like accounting or healthcare, where precision really matters: "The better your harness engineering is, the weaker the model can be," he explains, meaning you get high accuracy without needing huge or expensive AI models.
