Roblox unveils upgraded AI build tool at developer conference
Roblox just announced a bunch of fresh features at its Developer Conference, including several designed to make game creation easier and more fun.
The standout is their upgraded AI-powered "Build" tool, which lets you create games using simple text prompts, now available in New Zealand, Serbia, and Singapore.
Build adds desktop and asset library
The "Build" feature now works on desktop, includes an asset library, and offers more control. A scene-generator is coming later this year.
Soon, you'll be able to publish games as standalone apps for mobile, PC, or console, and play them straight from browser links.
Roblox also improved NPCs for better playtesting and will add an offline mode for play in areas with a weak network connection.
Creators in the US aged 18 and older can now withdraw money by the end of each business day with the new Roblox Wallet; planned future global expansion and the Roblox Card launching next year are on the way.
Age based discovery and friends chat
A new discovery algorithm will personalize game suggestions based on your age.
Plus, chatting with friends gets an upgrade thanks to a new Friends chat tab that moves across the game with them, with voice typing support, making it even easier to connect while you play.
