Sony's PlayStation gaming monitor charges your DualSense controller

Sony first showed off a PlayStation 5 gaming monitor at the Tokyo Game Show, and it's got a handy built-in hook to charge your DualSense controller—finally tackling those battery woes.
The 27-inch IPS LCD delivers up to 2,560 x 1,440 resolution (not quite full 4K), but you still get HDR support and Auto HDR Tone Mapping for crisp visuals.

Loaded with ports—two HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A, USB-C, plus a headphone jack—it even hits up to 240Hz for PC gamers.
Sony is clearly aiming at both console and PC crowds here.
They also teased upcoming gear like Pulse Elevate speakers and the "FlexStrike" fight stick.
Pricing isn't out yet, but Sony says the PlayStation Gaming Monitor is coming in 2026.
