By December 31, 2025, NPCI will roll out a unified UPI autopay management system.
Soon, you'll be able to see and control all your recurring payments—like subscriptions, EMIs, and bills—across Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and more, all from a single app.
No more hopping between apps just to manage your autopayments.
Key features of upcoming system
There'll be a dedicated "Manage Bank Accounts" or "UPI AutoPay" section where you can check active mandates, amounts, and how often payments go out.
You can pause or cancel any payment with just a tap—no strings attached, since NPCI isn't offering cashback promos to sway your choices.
For extra security, setting up or resetting your UPI PIN will need biometric or face authentication (up to ₹5,000 per transaction).
This move aims to make digital payments smoother, safer, and way more transparent for everyone.
