TECNO SPARK 8C launched in India at Rs. 7,500
TECNO has launched its latest SPARK series handset, the SPARK 8C, in India. It is priced at Rs. 7,499 for the 3GB/64GB model and will be up for grabs via Amazon from February 24. The handset first made its debut in Nigeria last month. It features a 90Hz LCD display, a 13MP main camera, a UNISOC chip, and a 5,000mAh battery.

TECNO has been one of the most active smartphone makers in the Indian market since the turn of 2022. Now, it has hit the streets with another budget-range SPARK series handset, the SPARK 8C. The handset is available in four color options
The TECNO SPARK 8C features a waterdrop notch design, a noticeable bottom bezel, an IPX2-rating for splash resistance, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset bears a 6.6-inch HD+ (720x1612 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is offered in Turquoise Cyan, Magnet Black, Iris Purple, and Diamond Gray color options.
It has a 13MP main camera
The SPARK 8C sports a dual rear camera setup, including a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and an 'AI lens.' Up front, it offers an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
A UNISOC T606 chipset fuels the device
The TECNO SPARK 8C draws juice from a UNISOC T606 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset also has 3GB of virtual RAM. Under the hood, it boots Android 11 (Go Edition)-based HiOS 7.6 and houses a 5,000mAh battery. For connectivity, the handset offers support for Bluetooth, 4G, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS.

In India, the TECNO SPARK 8C carries a price-tag of Rs. 7,499 for the sole 3GB/64GB model. It will go on sale from February 24 exclusively via Amazon.
