UIDAI just dropped a new Aadhaar app for Android and iOS, aiming to make your digital identity safer and more convenient.
This updated version replaces the old mAadhaar app, letting you access and share your Aadhaar details right from your phone.
With improved privacy controls and offline access, managing your identity is now a lot simpler—and you get more say over your own data.
The app comes with a host of new features
The app now offers face authentication so you can verify yourself at places like hotels without digging out documents.
You can manage up to five family members' Aadhaar profiles on one device (as long as they share the same mobile number).
There's also biometric lock/unlock for extra protection, QR code verification for quick paperless sharing, selective data sharing options, an activity log to track usage, and offline access so you're covered even without internet.
