WhatsApp is working on an incognito mode for Meta AI

Technology

WhatsApp is testing a new Incognito Mode for its Meta AI chatbot, found in the latest Android beta (version 2.25.28.1).
This feature is designed to boost privacy by making sure your chats with Meta AI aren't saved—think of it like Chrome's Incognito Mode, but for your AI conversations.
It's still in development and not available to users just yet.

How Incognito mode will work

With Incognito Mode on, anything you say to Meta AI won't be stored or used for personalization later.
Once you leave the chat, your messages are automatically deleted—so sensitive questions stay private.
WhatsApp will even remind you that there's "no personalisation, no history, and no memory" when using this mode, showing they're serious about giving users more control over their data.
