YouTube TV offers $60 comeback deal after Disney drama

Technology

YouTube TV is trying to win back old subscribers by offering a $60 discount if they rejoin.
This follows the end of a contract dispute with Disney, which means channels like ABC and ESPN are back—just in time for college sports and Monday Night Football.
The move is aimed at users who canceled during the blackout.

Not everyone gets the same deal

The $60 offer hasn't reached all former subscribers—some got it by email, others haven't seen anything yet.
Meanwhile, current subscribers only received a smaller $20 credit.
With tough competition from Hulu + Live TV (Disney-owned) and Fubo, YouTube TV is working hard to keep viewers on board, even as some Disney movies are still missing from its rental lineup.
