Yueban unveils Xiaoban self-driving robotic toilet at Shanghai expo
A Chinese tech company, Yueban, just launched Xiaoban, a self-driving robotic toilet designed for elderly people and anyone with mobility challenges.
Debuting at a Shanghai elder-care expo and priced around $4,000 (₹3.7 lakh), Xiaoban can roll itself around the house, help users with toileting, clean itself after use, and dock for charging, all on its own.
Xiaoban sends waste to regular toilet
Xiaoban can be controlled by voice or remote and uses smart sensors to avoid obstacles and handle uneven floors.
Its waste system sends everything straight to your regular toilet: no expensive plumbing changes needed.
With warm-water washing, drying, deodorizing, and self-cleaning features built in, it's all about hygiene and comfort.
As populations age worldwide, gadgets like this show how tech is stepping up for elder care.
