Premier League champions Manchester City face FA Cup winners Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday in the FA Community Shield. The two clubs met in the 2023-24 FA Cup final when Erik ten Hag's men beat Man City 2-1 at Wembley. It's the first time the two clubs meet in the FA Community Shield since 2011. Man City signed Brazil winger Savinho from French side Troyes until 2029 in a deal worth £30.8m. Savinho was on loan at Girona last season, scoring 11 goals and making 10 assists. Man City are parting ways with Julian Alvarez. Spanish giants Atletico have agreed a deal to land the Argentine for a whopping £81.5m. Midfielder Kalvin Phillips is expected to depart next.

As for Man United, Leny Yoro (foot), Rasmus Hojlund (hamstring) and Tyrell Malacia (knee) are ruled out with injuries,. Defensive quartet Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw remain doubtful.
