Rashid Khan, the most prolific T20 spinner, will lead Afghanistan in the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. The wrist-spinner had a perfect dress rehearsal by leading the Afghans to a 2-1 T20I series win over West Indies in Dubai. Under him, Afghanistan reached their maiden T20 World Cup semi-final in 2024. He currently has 37 wickets in the tournament.
