Honda launches 2021 Forza 250 maxi-style scooter in Indonesia

Japanese automaker Honda has launched the 2021 Forza 250 maxi-scooter in Indonesia. It is unlikely to make its way to India. As for the highlights, the two-wheeler has a Forza 350-inspired design and comes with an electronically-adjustable windshield and a glove box with built-in charging socket. It draws power from a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. Here's our roundup.

    2021 Honda Forza 250: At a glance

The 2021 Honda Forza 250 features a headlight-mounted front apron, a stepped-up seat, an upswept exhaust, and an electronically-adjustable (up to 40mm) windshield. The maxi-scooter has an all-LED lighting setup, a smart key, an anti-theft alarm, and a glove box with a built-in charging socket. It comes in Pearl Horizon White, Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic, Indy Gray Metallic, and Candy Rosy Red colors.

    Power and performance

The 2021 Honda Forza 250 maxi-style scooter draws power from a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that generates 22.79hp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The motor comes mated to a CVT gearbox.

    Safety and suspension setup

To ensure the rider's safety, the 2021 Honda Forza 250 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for improved handling on the roads. The suspension duties on the vehicle are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and dual shock absorbers on the rear end.

    What about the pricing?

In Indonesia, the 2021 Honda Forza 250 maxi-scooter sports a price-figure of IDR 83,810,000 (approximately Rs. 4.37 lakh). However, the premium two-wheeler is unlikely to make its way to India since there is hardly any demand for such powerful and expensive scooters here.
