AeroDefCon'25: Tamil Nadu targets ₹75,000cr investment in aerospace, defense
AeroDefCon'25 just kicked off at Chennai Trade Centre, with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin launching the event on October 7, 2025.
The goal? Attract a massive ₹75,000 crore investment in aerospace and defense over the next seven years.
This is the first time Chennai is hosting this global meet, drawing about 3,000 delegates from at least 19 countries and 300 companies.
Major B2B meetings on the agenda
Expect over 5,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings where big names like Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Tata Group, and DRDO are connecting.
The event is organized by TIDCO and AIDAT with support from France's BCI Aerospace and India's Ministry of Defence—so it's a serious networking hotspot for anyone interested in tech or engineering.
Focus on local manufacturing and self-reliance
AeroDefCon'25 isn't just about deals—it's about making India more self-reliant by getting Indian suppliers into global supply chains and boosting local manufacturing.
The event supports Tamil Nadu's push to become a national hub for aerospace and defense jobs.
Leaders from DRDO and Coast Guard say the state is ready for big investments—and that could mean lots of new opportunities ahead.
