Koechlin recalled being nervous about her Hindi lines and practicing every morning on set. Deol revealed that he had suggested the film's idea to Kashyap, who was initially "quiet for 20 minutes after hearing it." Music director Trivedi said each song was deeply rooted in the narrative. He shared, "When the film was released, something shifted for me and helped me find my voice as a composer."
