#KasautiiZindagiiKay: Is Hina Khan being replaced? Ekta Kapoor reveals truth
When reports of Hina Khan leaving Kasautii Zindagii Kay first surfaced, her fans were naturally disappointed. Hina played the new-age Komolika on KZK and she surely left a mark in that role. As speculations were rife about her quitting the show, producer Ekta Kapoor has finally broken her silence, and dismissed replacing Hina. Here's more on what she said.
Names of Karishma Tanna, Krystle D'Souza were being speculated
Ever since Hina getting replaced on the show hit headlines, speculations were rife about who would replace her. Names of Karishma Tanna and Krystle D'Souza were doing the rounds. However, dismissing all, Ekta said that Hina is 'the only Komolika who stays.' Interestingly, the TV czarina revealed this while partying with Hina, Karishma and Krystle. Hina stunned everyone with her transformation as Komolika
To recall, Hina playing a grey shade for the first time onscreen came as a breath of fresh air, as she was known for her sanskari bahu image. She got her share of fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the perfect bahu, Akshara. She was also seen on Bigg Boss 11, but KZK marked her comeback on the small screen.
Will be back whenever I'm required, Hina had said earlier
Interestingly, Hina, while talking about her exit earlier, had stated that she's taking a short break from Kasautii Zindagii Kay and is willing to return as and when required. "I'll be back on the show whenever I am required. In the earlier season too, the track would change and Komolika would take a break and come back," the actress was quoted saying earlier.
Hina to also feature in Vikram Bhatt directorial
Reports suggested that Hina was leaving KZK for venturing into Bollywood. Evidently, the 31-year-old is making her big Bollywood debut with a Vikram Bhatt directorial. "I love the film's concept and have heard some of the music, which is mind-blowing. And he's excited about having me on board, which boosts my morale. I feel lucky to have got this film," she added.
