Devaiah made his acting debut in Anurag Kashyap's That Girl in Yellow Boots (2010) alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin. He later starred in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum (2011) and Bejoy Nambiar's Shaitan (2011), with the latter earning him widespread acclaim.
