Ignoring Ekta's plea, Kangana's sister attacks Hrithik nastily on Twitter
On Tuesday, it was reported that Kangana Ranaut's Mental Hai Kya will release alongside Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 on July 26. Soon, Ekta Kapoor's production house, Balaji Motion Pictures, Mental Hai Kya producers, issued a statement clarifying that the decision was "purely for business prospects," and "assured there will be no mud-slinging." Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel, ironically, has already started the mud-slinging Ekta feared.
Rangoli wrote five tweets attacking Hrithik, and at times Ekta
It all started when Ekta tweeted yesterday in the early hours that "The ugly underground tweets have begun." Rangoli jumped in minutes later, and started her barrage against Hrithik, taunting him, calling him 'Pappu,' accusing him of indulging in negative PR exercise against Kangana, and threatening him of physical harm, if Kangana is attacked. She wrote five tweets attacking Hrithik and at times Ekta.
Kangana can knock Hrithik down in just one interview: Rangoli
Rangoli, in her tweets, said that Kangana apparently had asked Ekta to not release Mental Hai Kya on July 26, but "she had a meeting with her childhood friend Hrithik and they both took this call." She also said Hrithik's cheap PR tricks won't affect Kangana in any way, and it will take the actress just one interview to shoot him down.

Rangoli's attack comes despite Balaji's detailed statement
Rangoli's scathing attack is nasty, and comes despite Balaji's detailed statement urging all not to make personal attacks on either of the actors. To recall, Mental Hai Kya was scheduled to release in March, but was postponed to June 21 due to some incomplete patch-work. Even Super 30 was to release last November, but got postponed after its director Vikas Bahl was named in #MeToo.
'Super 30' makers maintain that release date won't be changed
After Vikas was ousted from the project, Anurag Kashyap stepped in to look over the post-production work, but this film will not credit any director. Super 30 was scheduled to be released in January, and again got shifted to July 26. Given the clash, there were talks that Super 30 release date will be changed again, but the makers have now confirmed otherwise.
Twitterverse finds Rangoli's tweets offensive, reports them to Mumbai Police
Rangoli's tweets did not, naturally, go down well with the Twitterverse, and they tagged Mumbai Police asking them to take action against her. "Please look into this matter, a verified account is Openly threatening of physical harm. Your response is awaited," wrote one. Mumbai Police is yet to respond on this, but if it does, will Rangoli delete her tweets fearing legal action?
Hrithik and his team have not yet responded to allegations
Hrithik and his team have also not responded to Rangoli's allegations or the change in release date. It needs to be seen whether he will respond at all or just wait for Super 30 to release and see how it performs. It should be noted that Hrithik and Kangana's personal feud goes back to 2017, when the latter called the former 'silly ex.'
Hrithik v/s Kangana murky clash started way back in 2017
They then clashed several times on different platforms, called each other names in different interviews, and gave enough fodder to the onlookers to relish. While Hrithik denied any romantic relationship with Kangana, the Queen actress slammed the Dhoom 2 actor publicly several times. It finally stopped when they shot legal notices to each other asking the other party to apologize.
Rebel actor? Kangana has earlier clashed with co-stars, co-directors, producers
Notably, this is not the first film of Kangana mired with controversy. She clashed with co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor over Rangoon. In Simran, she was accused of taking charge of the production, while in Manikarnika, director Krish accused her of removing him.
