Sanjana Sanghi rubbishes 'baseless' reports of sexual harassment against Sushant
In a recent development, 'Kizie Aur Manny' actress Sanjana Sanghi has rubbished the sexual harassment allegations against co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. She came out in support of SSR and termed the reports as baseless. Notably, Sushant's name cropped up in Bollywood's #MeToo movement after it was reported that the actor made Sanjana uncomfortable during the shooting. Here's more on what she said.
It was reported that during the Jodhpur schedule of 'Kizie Aur Manny', Sushant tried to be over-friendly with his co-star Sanjana. "On one occasion, she seemed to have got uncomfortable and apparently brought it to the notice of her parents, who reportedly told her to return to the set only if she felt she should," a source reportedly said.
Miffed with the reports, Sanjana shared a post on Instagram to put an end to these baseless allegations. In her post, she wrote, "I read several baseless and unfounded stories with respect to misconduct and misbehavior on the sets of 'Kizie Aur Manny'. I'd would like to clarify that no such incident took place with me. Let's put an end to these conjectures".
Interestingly, Sushant had also rubbished the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him and termed them baseless. SSR even shared grabs of his conversation with Sanjana on Twitter and wrote, "I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well-timed smear campaign."
