The CEO of YRF Entertainment and manager of Yash Raj Films, Uday Chopra is an actor, producer, screenwriter, and assistant director in Bollywood. He made a debut as an assistant director in 1991 with the film ‘Lamhe’ and worked on two more projects. In 1994, Chopra made a debut in the industry as a producer with the film ‘Yeh Dillagi’ starring Akshay Kumar, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan. He explored the field of acting with the super hit 2000 film ‘Mohabbatein’ and got nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. The film gave a breakthrough to Chopra in the industry, after which he was cast in the film ‘Dhoom’ in 2004. In 2006 and 2013, he also appeared in its sequels ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Dhoom 3’, respectively. He garnered popularity for playing the character of Ali in the 'Dhoom' series. Chopra joined a production workshop in Los Angeles in 2011, and in 2014, he produced the Hollywood films ‘Grace of Monaco’ and ‘The Longest Week’. The latter was YRF’s first Hollywood project.
