Six super foods that can help increase your sperm count

Infertility is an issue that ruins the lives and relationship of many couples. Sperm health (sperm count, motility and semen volume) is crucial to the man's fertility, and therefore the lady's chances of conceiving. Among other factors, poor dietary and lifestyle choices adversely affect male fertility. Here are six super foods (and some simple tips) that can help increase your sperm count.

#1,2
Bananas and Eggs: For greater sperm production and motility

Bananas: Loaded with essential vitamins like A, B1, and C, bananas promote production of healthier sperm, and help increase sperm productivity. Further, it contains Bromelain, an enzyme that boosts sperm health. Eggs: With so many health benefits, eggs are anyway a super-food. Rich in protein and Vitamin E, eggs can also contribute in healthy production and motility of sperm, which is crucial for fertility.

Spinach and Broccoli: The folic acid improves sperm production

Spinach: Spinach and other such leafy green veggies are rich in folic acid, which is instrumental for the development of healthy sperm. Notably, lack of folic acid is detrimental for health, as it could lead to production of malformed sperm. Broccoli: Similarly, broccoli also contains folic acid and vitamin B9, that is great for male fertility. And, studies have proven the effect.

#5,6
Walnuts and Garlic: For improved sperm count and quality

Walnuts: Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, powerful antioxidants and arginine, walnuts can help improve blood flow in the testicles, increase semen volume and sperm count. Garlic: Garlic is already popular for its many amazing health benefits. And you shouldn't be surprised when we tell you that it also helps cleanse your blood, enhance blood circulation, and improve sperm count and quality.
