Aditya Birla Capital's ABCD app was hit by a cyberattack, with hackers making off with almost ₹2 crore in digital gold from 435 users.
The company quickly restored the stolen gold to affected customers and paused fund transfers to stop things from getting worse.

ABCD app has over 1.2 million users
Aditya Birla Capital says they've fixed the app's security gaps and are focused on keeping user trust strong. A spokesperson shared their commitment to strengthening the platform's security.
Launched just this April, the ABCD app already has over 1.2 million users and offers more than 22 financial products.
Even after this breach, the company is pushing ahead with plans to grow its user base to 30 million in the next three years while tightening up security even more.
