AppleCare+ now covers theft and loss for iPhones in India
Apple just rolled out new AppleCare+ options in India, letting iPhone users get protection against theft and loss for the first time.
The plans are more flexible and budget-friendly, aiming to give Indian customers better peace of mind.
As Apple's VP Kaiann Drance put it, these updates are about making coverage easier and more affordable, including access to their most complete coverage for iPhone.
What's new with the plans?
You can now pick monthly or yearly AppleCare+ subscriptions that renew as long as you want.
Theft and Loss protection covers up to two incidents a year, plus you still get unlimited accidental-damage repairs.
Plans start at ₹799, and you can sign up right from your phone's Settings app.
This move is part of Apple's push to boost its after-sales game in India, where more people are choosing premium phones than ever before.
