Harvard Business School's HBS Foundry adds HeyGen AI avatar feedback
Technology
Harvard Business School's HBS Foundry boot camp is now using AI avatars to give feedback on practice pitches and board meetings.
Created by startup HeyGen, these AI avatars let participants test their ideas.
The eight-week course costs $699 and also includes weekly live sessions with instructors.
Sarah Kessler notices avatar's frozen smile
New York Times reporter Sarah Kessler tried pitching her "Uber for bananas" idea to both the real and AI version of Flybridge Capital co-founder Jeff Bussgang.
She noticed the avatar kept a noticeably frozen smile. Foundry participants told Kessler they like the avatars.
Bussgang admits his digital twin looks "creepy," but says, "My students love it."
