NASA astronauts capture jaw-dropping Northern Lights from space

NASA astronauts Josh Cassada and Nicole Mann captured an incredible video of the Northern Lights, filmed from the International Space Station.
The clip, shot about 400km above Earth, shows bright green auroras swirling across the planet as the sun rises—a seriously breathtaking view you won't see every day.

The ISS orbits most of the planet and lets astronauts catch up to 16 sunrises and sunsets daily, making it a one-of-a-kind spot for watching things like auroras in real time.
